Word Count: ~630
Characters/Pairings: Doctor/Rose, Nine, Ten, Ten2, Rose
Genre: Fluff
Summary: The Doctor ran through faces and bodies, but one question and one place was always there.
Author's Note: Inspired by the amazing song, Would You Go With Me, by Josh Turner. (See, I'm finally listening to something modern.) I have also decided that after being subjected to Justin Beiber for the first time in study hall, Mr. Turner is the anti-Beiber.
A leather-clad arm wrapped around hers and rough, calloused fingers slowly entwined with hers. He smiled that manic grin couldn’t be matched by anyone’s but hers. Thoughts of where to take her raced through his mind, but then he realized just where they should go.
He wanted to discover something with her. He wanted to have the same wonder that met her eyes. His hands seemed to move themselves from the dials and knobs to a lever that had been pulled to long ago. With a hard yank, he sets his ship in motion.
She wants to know where they are… and he tells her he doesn’t.
To her confused look, he tightens the grip around the hand that hadn’t left his and leads her sweepingly to the doors.
“Would you go with me?”
There was only one way she could have answered as they stepped outside.
Trees surrounded them in endless walls of pine. It was an oasis—away from everything else—in a planet that seemed obsessed with moving so fast.
A strong arm wrapped around her shoulders and gently guided her to the soft grass—still damp with morning dew.
Behind the two weary travelers, a blue box hummed smugly.

A blur of pinstripes circled the TARDIS console. Legs, feet and the occasional hand reached out and guided his beautiful ship. He was still getting used to this new body. He thought he could still feel that little zip of regeneration energy circling through his veins. He glanced up at Rose sitting on the console seat, staring softly at him with a smile.
She’s still upset about Cassandra, the Doctor decided. She wouldn’t tell him how much she remembered from the event, but that told the Doctor enough. Some first date that turned out to be.
Pulling the final lever with a flourish, he reached up and took Rose’s proffered hand.
He leaped down the ramp with her following closely in tow.
He pushed her hand over the door and together they guided it open.
The forest surrounded them, the same green grass and the same warmth that had met them before.
How could he have not thought about this before?
Reaching out for her hand and waiting for her to take it, he murmured in her ear.
“Would you go with me?”

Rose Tyler was beyond infuriated. She had been blindfolded, driven around for hours in what she was sure where circles, and a certain half-Time Lord, half human was carrying her because he said, “The footing was too uneven.”
“If you would take this blindfold off, I could walk by myself you know,” Rose argued, wriggling in his grip, but he held her firmly.
“But, then I wouldn’t get to hold you,” the Doctor replied cheekily. “Besides, that would ruin the surprise.”
“You’ve been leading me around blindfolded for three hours,” she said in exasperation. “You were pulled over twice by the police to make sure that you weren’t trying to kidnap me or something.”
“Oi! It’s only been Two hours and fifty minutes,” the Doctor said pointedly, as Rose felt his grip loosen around her and he let her feet fall to the ground. Grass crunched beneath her and she stared in the direction that she assumed the Doctor was facing.
She felt his hands gently tugging the blindfold off of her face and letting it fall to the grass. Immediately, the frustrations that Rose had been harboring faded away. The sun was just setting behind the pines and Rose immediately recognized where she was.
“I… I never even thought… I never even looked,” Rose stuttered out, her gaze locking on the impossible man in front of her.
He dropped to one knee, pulled out a dark, red, velvet box and opened it.
“Would you go with me?”
