Book Rec: Prime Directive/ Book Quote
Aug. 19th, 2011 08:42 pmI have found that my high school is a wealth of Star Trek books! I'm so amazed! Although, at middle school all we had every sequel to If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Literally. Nothing really went above an eight grade level, but they did duck fairly low.
The current book I'm tackling is one that I've been looking for a while is Prime Directive it's by: Judith and Garfield. It's basically about the Enterprise Crew has been dishonored and all but forced into resignation, and I'll let you find out the rest, but I will give you a quote that really doesn't have to do with the main plot as far as I can tell from the point I am in the book:
"McCoy shook his head. 'More than two hundred years ago, when children looked at the Eagle, that was their starship. And they dreamed about flying on it for all the same reasons that you want to fly on the starships we have today.'
