What is the first line of your favorite book?

This is why I shouldn't set my alarm clock for 5:45 I'm ready for school too early and post here. Hee)

My favorite book, "Collision Course," by William Shatner started with a quote from Gene Rodenbery:

"I have always found some hope for myself in the fact that the Enterprise crew could be so humanily fallible and yet be some of those greater things, too."

But the best way that I've read to start a book was from "The Book Theif," By Markus Zusak, for a summer reading assignment. (The formating in this book is a bit weird, but I think it adds to a sense of mystery.

"First the colors.
then the humans.
that's usually how I see things.
Or at least, how I try.
***HERE IS A SMALL FACT***
You are going to die.
